Timeline
-
Set up my own company "Okra Design" to work closer with clients and do cool shit. I have been bringing together great people to work on important challenges in health, food systems and energy. When not leading teams I can be found playing fractional roles at scale ups doing good things for the planet.

At Fjord (now Accenture Song) I was part of a centre of excellence tasked with teaching and evolving our key craft Service Design across 8+ studios in the region while also helping nurture the development of new capabilities and POVs for our clients. 2017-2020

Paused consulting for a year to focus my energy on public health and AgTech projects; fields in which I had become particularly knowledgeable. Freelanced as a design director with Dalberg Design and IDEO.org.

As a co-lead I was responsible for the creative management of a $10M accelerator program funded by DFID. The Amplify program's mission was to spot innovations and scale solutions sustainably; acting as part design support and as part venture capital in the development sector.
-
Led multidisciplinary teams on projects ranging from strategy, product and digital transformation for fortune 500 brands.
-
While at Method, I led the redesign of steelcase.com, the award winning redesign of architecture firm NBBJ, worked on interesting IoT techonologies for egg farms, helped Martha Stewart envision her new brand strategy and digital brand architecture and more...

It helped me master all parts of the design process, honing my digital skills, being part of transformational projects at an org level and allowing me to stretch myself as a designer across physical, digital and spatial design.
